Hey y'all...!
Well, don't know if y'all are aware of it, but the Great Lakes State is becoming the Great Lake Movie State. Filmcrews get a 42% tax break, and all of us wanna be in the movies...cause we're all unemployed and hey, WHO DOESN'T?? heh.
In the last two or three years, there's been quite a few motion pictures filmed here...if you've seen the Clint Eastwood film "GRAND TORINO", Drew Barrymore's "WHIP IT", A good chunk of the new George Clooney film "UP IN THE AIR", and the upcoming HBO Biopic "YOU DON'T KNOW JACK" (about Jack Kevorkian), and the remake of the 80's movie "RED DAWN"...they were filmed HERE. Some of 'em nearly in THE BACKYARD...and, here's a shot that I thought y'all would think was fun...and it just goes to show ya that not EVERYTHING in the Movies are real...this is My Sister and I on the set of RED DAWN, (and it also shows y'all that not every set is always off limits. heh.) ENJOY!!
